The Fellowship committee is dedicated to organizing programs and activities that support and encourage the fellowship of the church members. These programs and activities are central to the growth of the church as a family unit, which supplement the time spent together in worship and Bible study. Examples of the programs and events organized by this committee include potluck dinners, annual white water rafting trips, annual church picnics complete with great food, music, and games, and special breakfasts for Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day. The oldest and most anticipated tradition of the church is the annual winter weekend to Frost Valley YMCA in the Catskills of NY. Here, multiple family generations congregate to experience many outdoor winter activities and memorable programs and worship services in a beautiful, peaceful, natural environment.
